Before you begin, it is great to stock up one some lovely Origami Paper or colourful paper pads (not construction paper, but paper that also fits into printers, it is lighter and better for folding)! We like to use a mixture of plain colours and pattern paper. You can get them quickly and easy online!!!
In Japan, the tradition of folding square-shaped paper to make various shapes is known as origami. This form of paper artwork can range from simple to complex. Cranes, hats, animals, flowers, and shuriken are among the most common and traditional origami creations you may come across.
Flowers are perhaps the most popular origami subject, and can be used as gifts or for many decorative purposes.
